How to use this website if you are a customer

  • If you want to check a business is accredited by UK Trade & Industry Awards, type in the business name or registration number in the search bar on the home page.  All businesses accredited by us will appear in the drop-down list.
  • To find a business in your area, such as a roofer, you can do this in 2 ways; firstly, using the search bar on the home page, search or filter by the category you are looking for.  Click on location and type in the name of the location you want to find this business in, then click search.  This will take you to the listings for businesses near the location you have chosen where you can click on more filter options.
  • The second way to find a business is to click on the listings tab on the menu at the top of the page. Once you are on the listings page, you can filter the businesses by category, region and even distance from your location.  You can also click on the check boxes at the side of the page to filter the business by their features, for example, only business that accept credit cards and reservations.
  • When you have found a business listing that suits your needs, you can get all the information you need from their page, from opening hours to contact information.
  • The listing page will have pictures and a description of their business services.  You can find the review by UK Trade & Industry Awards on the right-hand side of the page, along with our rating and their registration number.
  • If you want to contact the business directly, you can email them via the contact form on their page.
  • You can also get directions to their business by clicking on the link at the top right of their page.
  • If you are not happy with the service of a business on our site, please let us know by filling out the complaints form (click here) and we will investigate your complaint thoroughly.
  • Our aim is to raise standards by accrediting and awarding businesses for having high standards of products and service.
  • Users of this site can find trusted businesses and not have to worry about fake reviews or listings as we independently verify and rate all businesses.
